Warehouse Suite
Built in 1903, the Kincaid Building has long been a part of La Veta's history and
downtown. The upstairs was once a dance hall, movie theatre, meeting place, even a
church! In 2007 it was restored to a luxury suite available for short-term rental.
The suite comfortably sleeps 8 and is perfect for golf weekends, corporate retreats,
family reunions or wedding parties. It includes a huge family room, 2 full baths,
4 bedrooms, washer/dryer, big screen TV, surround sound stereo, phone and Wi-Fi.
In the heart of La Veta, this unexpected treasure is close to shops, restaurants, art
galleries, the museum, and it is just across the street from the La Veta town park. It
is a comfortable walk to the Grandote Golf Course and a pleasant ride to Cuchara.
La Veta comes alive in the summer with a fantastic venue of fun events, but with its
moderate temperatures and unbeatable scenery it is still the perfect, relaxing "get
away from it all" destination.

The Olive Tree Bed and Breakfast
Bed and Breakfast located in La Veta on the Highway of Legends (Hwy. 12 at Oak Street),
close to Grandote Peaks Golf Course. The Olive Tree accommodations include three bedrooms,
two baths, two large patios, hot tub and fire pit. The lower floor guest room features
a master bedroom with queen bed, private whirlpool bath and shower, TV/stereo and private
door to large patio. Two sunny upstairs bedrooms share a bath and separate den with TV.
One bedroom has a king bed and the other a queen bed. Children are welcome. The Olive
Tree is non-smoking, no pets and not handicap accessible. Open all year; cash and checks
accepted.
The Ranch House Inn
The Ranch House Inn is located in La Veta across the street from the Grandote
Peaks Golf Course on Highway 12, the scenic highway of legends. Huge rooms with
a southwestern decor, for a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Within walking
distance to the Grandote Peaks Golf Course and downtown La Veta. Winter rates
are $75; Memorial Day to Labor Day rate $95. Cable and wireless Internet provided.
